Sean Connery plans to celebrate his seventy-eighth birthday this August 25th by releasing his autobiography, Being a Scot, the famed 007 actor said Thursday. Connery will unveil the memoir at Scotland’s Edinburgh Book Festival this Summer.
In a six-decade career, the former Edinburgh milkman also starred in “The Hunt for Red October,” “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade,” and “The Untouchables,” which earned him an Academy Award for best supporting actor.
The Edinburgh event is one of Britain’s leading literary gatherings each August 9-25.
Connery will be among the 800 authors appearing at this years festival.
