Kate Beckinsale would not expose her butt in a shower scene for her latest film.
The studio had to hire a nude stand in for her at the rate of $2,000 a day.
A call for a double went out at the last minute on a casting website in Hollywood last week for shower scenes that begin shooting tomorrow.
Advertisement for Silver Pictures wanted a under 134lbs, 5ft 8in brunette. It added: “It’s a shower scene so there is no intimacy.”
“The script called for her character to be filmed nude in a shower, focusing in on her bottom and thighs. Kate insisted on a double being hired. She was quite open on the set about not liking her body and said she particularly loathed her bottom and was not comfortable baring it.”

I’m not sure anyone would want to see mine, but for $2,000 it’s a chance I am willing to take. Any offers?
