Tennis Star Ashley Harkleroad Does Playboy Photo Shoot. Harkleroad, 23, who hails from Rossville in North Georgia will be the first tennis player to appear in Playboy. She a pro, has been ranked a high of 39th in the world in 2003. Currently, she’s ranked 61. Her career earnings are nearly a million dollars to date.
“I’m proud of my body,” says Harkleroad who follows American swimmer Amanda Beard in baring all for the cameras, “I stay in shape and try to stay fit. I’m just trying to represent a female athlete and her body. That can be sexy too. It’s no big deal.”
The magazine hits newsstands Today.
