Sarah Michelle Gellar is reportedly in negotiations to star in a new big screen adaptation of her small screen cult classic, Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
“There is an idea for a script and to pick the story up with Buffy older and maybe even a mother,” Britain’s Daily Star reported on Tuesday. “Michelle is busy with movie projects at the moment but she is excited about the idea. Buffy still has a huge fan base so this is a movie that already has an audience.”
The 31-year-old actress ended her seven-year run as Buffy– based on Kristy Swanson’s 1992 comedy–in 2003.

She is 31 now? Time flies. Can’t wait till the new movie comes out. Vampire Slayer! Wow weeeeee. By the way, wasn’t her last movie, The Grudge? Love that movie, too. Scare the hell out of me.
