Johnny Palermo (1982 – June 8, 2009) who appeared in more than 30 television shows in his brief career, died June 8 in an early morning car accident along with his girlfriend Alessandra Giangrande who was driving at the time, in a Los Angeles. He was 27.
Palermo was regular on the Nickelodeon series Just for Kicks, and had appeared in Everybody Hates Chris as Chris’ classmate Frank DiPaolo. Palermo had guest roles in shows, including CSI: Miami, General Hospital, Rules of Engagement, Without a Trace, How I Met Your Mother and CSI: NY.
The Rochester (N.Y.) Democrat and Chronicle said a viewing for Palermo is planned for Friday at the Falvo Funeral Home in Penfield, N.Y., and a funeral mass is to take place Saturday at St. Cecilia’s Church.
The actor is survived by his parents John M. Palermo and Patricia Palermo Crawford; sister Jennifer Alma; and brother Richard Palermo.
