Madonna is planning to take the four years old adopted daughter, Mercy, to Malawi the upcoming week to meet with Mercy’s father James Kambewa and to learn more about her native background.
According to reports, Madonna agreed for her daughter to connect with her father, and she is hoping that he will have a role in Mercy’s life.
Mercy’s father is working as a night porter, making $23 a month.
James Kambewa declared that he was told that her daughter died along with her mother in childbirth. Finding out the truth he was against the adoption and was firm about Mercy living with him.
Most probable, Madonna will take her other Malawian adopted child, David Banda, with her on the journey.
Madonna is set to have dinner with Malawian president while she is there, prior of flying back to New York.
