Important Hollywood studios have taken measures against celebrities not to use Twitter for fear of leaking too much information regarding the upcoming films.
Hollywood Reporter says that Disney has included Twitter and Facebook, or personal blogs on the list where celebrities cannot divulge confidential information.
A celebrities lawyer stated to The Hollywood Reporter that “This is just the beginning” as Hollywood is controlling for a long time what celebrities are revealing to the media, social networks or other similar media areas were not yet controlled.
In general, social networking sites have become more and ore tools of the industry in search for cheap and new viral marketing.
Do you feel this is right? Should the studios have the right to say what the celebrities can say on twitter?
