The famous actress and star, Pamela Anderson is determined to save the seals from the yearly hunt on the East Coast of Canada. The actress who is also an animal rights activist is just one of the celebrities that joined an ad campaign by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
Anderson stated on the Canada AM TV Show that she is angry about the seal hunt, considering it “barbaric and cruel” as well as embarrassing to her native country.
On the other hand, the Canadian Inuit community believes that the seal hunt provides vital jobs and food for the inhabitants of the isolated northern areas of Canada.
Canada’s seal hunt is the biggest in the world, with the average of 300,000 killed harp seals each year.
Not to change the topic here but look at that dress! Is that not just about the ugliest things you have ever seen her where?
