The former child actor Marty York was sentenced to 60 days in jail after pleading guilty to domestic battery stemming from a fight with his girlfriend back in April.
In addition to that, the Sandlot actor is required to go through 52 weeks of counseling and five year probation period as well, TMZ.com reports.
York initially pleaded not guilty in June, after he has been arrested on April 12, 2009 for a clash with his girlfriend on their way home from a Los Angeles nightclub. The altercation was forgiven by his girlfriend, and appeared on his side at his case hearing in May, but in the end, York pleaded guilty in a Los Angeles court on October 16, 2009.

Collin Wilcox, the actress famous for her role in the classic film “To Kill a Mockingbird” (1962), as the white girl who accused a black man of raping her, died on October 14 of brain cancer in Highlands, North Carolina at the age of 74.
Wilcox was born on February 4, 1935, in Cincinnati attending University of Tennessee and the Actors Studio in New York, debuting on Broadway in 1958 in “The Day the Money Stopped”. She won the Clarence Derwent Award from the Actor’s Equity Association as the year’s most promising female performer.
Wilcox appeared in several TV shows, as The Twilight Zone, Playhouse 90, The Waltons or Columbo.
In the early 1980s she left Hollywood, returning to Highlands to take care of her mother.
