Elton John has been hospitalized following an E. coli bacterial infection and the flu, according to his spokesman’s Monday statement.
The spokesman, Gary Farrow expressed his hopes that Elton to be released as soon as possible, but unfortunately he had to call off his concerts in England, Ireland and in the United States. According to his web site, Elton John was advised by his doctor to reschedule dates in Portland and Seattle.
Farrow stated that Elton has a “bad case of the flu and a minor case of E. coli”. According to the Daily Mail’s Web, David Furnish, the partner of Elton said “He’s OK – he’s fine” as leaving from the hospital.
