The recharged Scream movie is set to be part of a new trilogy, according to screenwriter Kevin Williamson.
Screamers Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and her husband David Arquette agreed to play again their roles in a new horror film.
The original franchise was a huge commercial success and movie industry bosses are expecting to repeat the same performance.
