Actor Morgan Freeman reached a settlement with the woman who was his passenger in a car crash and who sued him afterwards.
Demaris Meyer declared that Freeman had been drinking on the night of the crash in Mississippi.
Freeman’s lawyer did not revealed the terms of the settlement, but said: “We’re all glad it’s over with.”
As a result of the agreement, Ms Meyer legal case was dismissed on Thursday by the US District Court, Northern District of Mississippi.
The accident occurred following a party in August 2008, when Freeman drove Ms Meyer to his home. She sued Freeman for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, permanent disability as well as property damage.
