Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donated serious amount of money to charity in 2008.
As the 2008 tax return for their Jolie-Pitt foundation – got hold of it by The Hollywood Reporter – reveals that the two of them donated $6.4 million.
As far as the beneficiaries concerns, Global Health received $2 million; the Human Right Watch got $1 million, while Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation got $1 million as well. They also donated $500,000 to the Armed Services YMCA of the U.S. Army, $50,000 to Springfield, Missouri public schools and roughly $1 million to Cambodia, from where they adopted one of their children, Maddox.
Pitt and Jolie donated $6 million from their own personal fortune to the Jolie-Pitt foundation.
