Megan Denise Fox (born May 16, 1986) is an American actress, starting her acting career in 2001 with a couple of smaller roles in television and films. Her film career debuted with a role in Confessions of a Teenage Dram Queen in 2004. Her breakout came with the role of Mikaela Banes, in the film Transformers in 2007, performance that earned her several Teen Choice and MTV Movie Awards nominations.
Fox was born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee to Darlene Tonachio and Franklin Foxx. Her parents divorced, and Fox lived with her mother till she could support herself. Fox attended a dance class in her community and at 13 she started modeling after winning numerous awards in 1999 at the American Modeling and Talent Convention in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Fox attended Morningside Academy, graduating from St. Lucie West Centennial High School.
Her acting debut started in 2001, at the age of 16, with the film, Holiday in the Sun. The following year, she got the main role in the television series, Ocean Ave, series that went on for two seasons. In 2004, she made her film debut in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, and often appeared in the ABC sitcom, Hope & Faith, until its cancellation in 2006.
In 2007, she obtained the leading role in Transformers, interpreting Mikaela Banes, performance that earned her an MTV Movie Award nomination for “Breakthrough Performance” and three different Teen Choice Awards. She also played the same role in the following Transformers sequels. In June 2007, Fox had a small role in How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, but it was considered a commercial failure. She got her first lead role with the role of title character in Jennifer’s Body, film released in September 2008. In April, 2009 Fox started shooting for the film Jonah Hex, playing the role of Leila. Presently in production, the film is due to be released in June, 2010.
Fox was present on the covers of several magazines: Maxim in 2007; Cosmo Girl, Paw Print, Jack, FHM – UK and GQ in 2008; USA Weekend, Esquire, Empire, Maxim, GQ – UK, Entertainment Weekly and ELLE in 2009. She was ranked 17 on magazines Hollywood faces on “Future Stars of Tomorrow”, 16 on Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2008 list, ranked number one on Moviefone’s “The 25 Hottest Actors Under 25” in 2008 and voted the “Sexiest Woman in the World” by the FHM readers in 2008.
Fox is often considered as the “next Angelina Jolie” being compared to her for having a similar tattoo collection and for their sex symbol status. Fox has a total of eight known tattoos on her body, including the name of ‘Brian’ and a picture of Marilyn Monroe’s face.
Fox has dated actor Brian Austin Green since 2004. They got engaged in 2006, but reports said that they broke up in July 2008 and in February 2009. Although, Fox declared on June 15, 2009 that she was single, Brian and Fox were seen together later on.
Fox admitted that she has taken drugs and that she supports the legalization of marijuana; in her opinion marijuana is not a drug.
Fox confirmed in May 2009 that she is a bisexual, revealing on June 15, 2009 that she has a crush on Cheryl Cole. In June 2009, on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, she declared her interest on pop singer Rain.

I am definately in love with Megan Fox, I did not know who she was or seen any other of her films or roles until she starred in Transformers.
I said wow she is gorgeous, but in my opinion in the movie Transformers she really lacked on stage presence. Although the movie was more about the Transformers robots than her.
But once I saw her in Jennifer’s Body, I gained a whole new respect for her as an actress. She dominated that role and I could not see anyone else paying it like she did. (I heard that Angeline Jolie was first in line for the lead role in Jennifer’s Body, but Megan Fox got it instead.)
