Steven Spielberg Takes On World War ISteven Spielberg is joining forces with Billy Elliott writer Lee Hall for a film based on a World War I novel.

He has purchased the rights to Michael Morpurgo’s 1982 book Warhorse, which presents the relationship of a boy with his horse in the backdrop of World War I. Spielberg has enrolled Hall to adjust the book for Hollywood and he produce the film. It is yet not known of he will also direct.
