Court records states Torn was so intoxicated when he broke into the bank with a loaded revolver that he thought he was home, as he took off his hat and boots and left them by the door.
The actor, 78, was accused Monday on several charges after he spent the weekend in a police holding cell near Salisbury, Connecticut. He was released a few hours later on $100,000 bond.
