Jay Leno is again the host of “The Tonight Show” and nothing seems to have changed. Judging from his first night of his return, the show is pretty much the same.
Leno returned to his old job at “Tonight Show” nine months after he was replaced by O’Brien and after just 19 days of NBC pulling the plug on Leno’s misadventure.
NBC is hoping Leno will be comfortable behind the desk on the same old “Tonight Show” from where he dominated late night – beating Letterman too – for over 17 years.
There are already discussions whether Leno can get back his old glory. Some viewers have their own opinions about the “Tonight Show”.
One of them said she preferred Leno earlier as she goes to be early. Another viewer, Natalie Hanks, 19, of San Clemente, California said she wishes both O’Brien and Leno had room at NBC.
In the meantime there are numerous rumors about the future of O’Brien who is mostly considered a victim of the deal between Leno and NBC, responsible for his departure. Most people think he will be heading to the Fox network to compete nightly with Leno and Letterman.
