Simon Cowell’s “Mr. Mean” seems to be history as he is now engaged to ‘American Idol’ makeup artist Mezghan Hussainy.
‘American Idol’ stylist and close friend of Hussainy Miles Siggins joked to Fancast, “Is it love or is it because he just got a billion dollar deal for ‘X Factor’?” Adding “Is it for love or is it for the money or is it for the love of money? I don’t know.”
Siggins also said Cowell appears to be happy with her and although he knew they were dating their engagement was still a surprise for him.
Cowell at “The Tonight Show” joked about their marriage, saying they would get married within the next ten years. However, Siggins revealed that their marriage would take place this September and that the engagement ring cost more than $400,000. He also said that he will most probably not be attending the ceremony, but another ‘American Idol” friend Ryan (Seacrest) will be there.
Cowell’s representatives made no comment regarding his marriage, stating that his “private life is his private life”.
