Lady GaGa filed a lawsuit against her former boyfriend & producer Rob Fusari, stating she was tricked to sign an unlawful contract.
One day earlier, Fusari filed a suit for $30 million against the pop star, claiming that he co-wrote several songs of her, promoted her shows, helped a record deal, plus he is the one who came up with her stag name. Lady GaGa was born as Stefani Germanotta.
Lady GaGa filed a contersuit stating she was forced by Fusari to “enter into an unlawful arrangement” which seems to have given right Fusari to a part of her future earnings. According to GaGa, Fusari acted as a talent agen without a license, thus the contract is not a valid one.
According to the suit, “The arrangement was structured in such a way as to mask its true purpose – to provide the defendant unlawful compensation for their services as unlicensed employment agents.”
