The gorgeous Canadian actress and model Malin Akerman was born in Stockholm, Sweden on May 12, 1978. Her father was an insurance broker and mother an aspiring model. Malin became popular by her outstanding performance in the movie 27 Dresses and The Heartbreak Kid. Her role as Silk Spectre in the critically acclaimed movie Watchmen was appreciated worldwide.
At the age of three Malin Akerman’s family moved to Canada from Sweden. After few years her parents got divorced and her father moved back to Sweden. But Malin Akerman stayed with her mother in Canada. She received her primary education from Parliament Oak Primary School. Till 11th grade she attended Niagara District Secondary School. Malin did her graduation from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School.
Canada search had chosen Malin Akerman when she was just seventeen. She won and endorsed many prestigious add campaigns for Ford Supermodel Canada.
