A Batman stage show might be plunging in the town next to you.
Warner Bros. and DC Comics are in the first stages of setting up a tour, called “Batman Live” starring the Caped Crusader, teaming up with Nick Grace Management and Water Lane Prods. Which are behind the so popular “Walking With Dinosaurs” and “Mamma Mia!” touring shows.
The show is basically a complex arena production targeting kids and families.
Alan Burnett, whose work credit include such television shows as Batman and Superman, and animated movies such as “Batman: Mask of the Phantasm” and “Green Lantern: First Flight” is writing the script and the story of the show.
There is no timeline for the “Batman” show yet, but according to one scenario it should be launched after the third “Batman” movie in 2012, while another scenario has it opening in 2011.
