Six months after the events of the previous movie, Survival of the Dead follows the story of the survivors from the zombie apocalypse. As civilization has been destroyed by the zombies’ two family clans remained on Plum Island a small isolated island off the coast of Delaware. The isolation of the island made it possible for them not to be overrun by the zombies.
On the island a decade old family feud has divided the two clans. Another issue is that there is a difference in opinion what to do with the zombies.
The O’Flynns believe that the only way to deal with the zombies is to kill them while the Muldoons want to care for the undead keeping them quarantined until scientists are able to find a cure that would turn them into humans because they don’t want to kill their loved once if they turn into zombies.
