Bill Murray was bleeding from a head wound after injuring himself during a ‘dumpster dive’ stunt for a U.S. television show.

The Ghostbusters actor jumped into a makeshift dumpster swimming pool full with garbage, as a part of a skit for the Late Show with David Letterman to make fun of the official plans for trash-bin swimming holes in New York City.

But Murray hit his head in the jump and the show’s set was covered with blood. Nevertheless, Murray continued the interview with the host, with the producers patching up the injury during a break in filming.

According to a rep for the New York Post, “He did hit his head on the dumpster and was bleeding during the interview with Letterman, but the producers patched him up in the commercial break.”

The actor later cancelled plans to take part in a screening of his recent film Get Low in Manhattan to recover from his injury.

The singer – who is seeing Spanish model Andres Valancoso since October 2008 – loves being around the 32 old model and believes he fits well with her family.

The ‘All the Lovers’ singer’ said, “He’s a very stable, honest, fun guy. He’s part of the family.”

The singer, 42, is currently in Australia spending time with her sister Dannii’s new baby Ethan, which she recognizes has made her broody.

She said “I have cuddled him and gazed at him adoringly, he’s a little marvel. I am just a little bit lucky.”

In case Kylie goes on to raise a family – now living in London, England – would consider returning to her home land, Australia.

She said, “Would I come back to Melbourne? Quite possibly, yeah. There’s nothing like having a mum around,”

She said on Australian television show ‘A Current Affair’, “He had just woken up and was getting ready to have a bath, Dan said, ‘Go on, have a nudie cuddle’ because he’s just so tiny and precious and beautiful.

“I did that and then she said, ‘Take him to the bathroom’, and I did. Carried him through there and Kris had his towel, just a towel wrapped around him.

“And I thought, ‘That’s OK, because he’s just got up’. So we have a chat in the bathroom and I’m thinking, ‘The bath’s right there. That’s an awful lot of water for a little baby’.

“Jetlag, no common sense, then I suddenly realised, ‘Oh, you’re going in the bath with Ethan. Sorry, that’s why you’ve got a towel wrapped around you. I’ll just get out of the bathroom’.”
