2nd – Takers, opened with $21 million.

3nd – The Expendables, earned $9.5 million.

4rd – Eat Pray Love, got on week three $7 million.

5th – The Other Guys, earned $6,6 million.

6th – Vampires Suck, week two got $5.3 million.

7th – Inception, on week nine got $5.1 million.

8th – Nanny McPhee Returns, week 8 did $4.7 million.

9th – The Switch, earned on week seven $4.6 million.

10th – Piranha 3D, got $4.3 million.

Angelina Jolie has penned down the screenplay and will direct the Bosnian war drama she announced earlier this week.

The Academy Award-winning actress will make her directorial debut with this project, which present a couple who meet each other when the Bosnian war begins in 1992.

It will be produced along with Graham King and Tim Headington, in association with GK Films.

Angelina already worked with the company, on ‘The Tourist’ shot with Johnny Depp in Italy this year ahead of a December release.

Talking about the movie while on a trip, she said: “The film is a love story, not a political statement. I would like to involve as many people as possible and learn as much as I can.”

GK Films is now also working on Martin Scorsese’s family movie, Hugo Cabret, starring Jude Law, Chloe Moretz and Sacha Baron Cohen.
