Hilary Duff has put on for sale the six-bedroom Los Angeles mansion she bought in 2004 for $3.5.
The Lizzie McGuire’s former star, 22, is looking to economize after wedding hockey star Mike Comrie last month, after three years of dating.
She listed her home at Toluca Lake on the market last week for $7 million.
She has no plans of moving to Pittsburg, where Mike plays for the Pittsburg Penguins, but she expects to go back and forth from Los Angeles.
“I’m not, no, I’m not moving to Pittsburgh but I’m sure I’m going to be there a lot. I have such a busy life in Los Angeles and four dogs and my family’s there and my work. I’ll be doing a lot of commuting I’m sure.”
The property features a cognac room, wine cellar, wet bar, gym and even a gift-wrapping room. It also comes with a complementary eight-seater electric boat.
However, it could take while for the property to be sold, as celebrities are also affected by the real estate crunch. Other celebrities, such as Kim Kardashian, Christina Aguiliera, Scarlett Johansson, Avril Lavigne or Priscilla Presley were all forced to slash prices in order to sell their mansions in California last year.
