Jon Voight’s recent television show Lone Star has been terminated after only two episodes despite a public plea from the creator of the series begging fans to help save the series.
The show – following the secret double life of a man – debuted in the United States in September (2010) with disappointing ratings.
Kyle Killen, the creator of the series, urged fans to watch the second episode in an effort to help the show “stay alive”.
But TV network Fox bosses confirmed they are pulling the series off the air, as Lone Star’s second episode received even less viewers than the first episode.
Lone Star will be replaced with episodes of the procedural crime drama Lie to Me, which was due to return on Wednesdays in November.
