Movie Info
The movie is a 2010 American dream, with Oliver Stone directing the movie, and a sequel to the film Wall Street (1987).
It is set 23 years after the original movie, in New York City and it is mainly centered on the 2008 financial crisis. The determined young investment banker Jacob Moore (Shia LaBeouf) realizes that greed is still what the game is all about when he makes a delicate alliance with former Wall Street hot shot Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas), soon after Gekko has been released from prison, having surfed eight years for money laundering, racketeering and securities fraud. Out of prison, Gekko learns that his daughter Winnie (Carey Mulligan) wants to remain estranged from him.

Gloria Stuart (July 4, 1910 – September 26, 2010), an enchanting actress who starred in horror films and musicals in the 1930s, died at her home in West Los Angeles on September 26 (2010). She was diagnosed with lung cancer with some years ago.
She appeared in over 40 films and musicals including The Old Dark House (1932), The Invisible Man (1933), Gold Diggers of 1935, The Prisoner of Shark Island (1936), Poor Little Rich Girl (1936) or Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm (1938).
Despite all efforts she failed to break through to A-list stardom, and finally she gave up. Comedy writer Arthur Sheekman, her husband at the time did not support her acting career. She married Sheekman in 1934, after she divorced from her first husband sculptor Blair Gordon Newell.
She took minor roles on television in the 1970s and in such films as My Favorite Year (1982). In 1997, at the age of 87 she was cast in the blockbuster Titanic as the older version of the character Rose. Her performance on Titanic earned her an Academy Award nomination.
