The Most Iconic Superstars of All Time

Author: Sami  /  Category: Celebrity Gossip

Superstars only come along once in a while. These are the singers, bands, and celebrities which we have all probably looked up to at some point in our lives. Think along the lines of Elvis Presley – the King of Rock and Roll, or even the Spice Girls heralding the “girl power” craze. Regardless of whether your favorite superstar was known for heavy metal or total cheese, they are all memorable in their own way. We have taken a look at some of the most iconic superstars of all time…

Elvis Presley

Elvis was a true icon of the 20th Century. In fact, the more successful Elvis became the more flamboyant his stage costumes were. You can still see these costumes in old pictures of the Rock and Roll legend, as well as in a range of Elvis Presley collectables. Elvis had a number of hits, including ‘Hound Dog’, ‘Suspicious Minds’ and ‘Jailhouse Rock’.

The Spice Girls

When the Spice Girls burst onto the scene with their song “Wannabe”, no one would have been able to predict that they would soon become the band of the 90’s to be tied completely to the “girl power” phenomenon. The five girls – Baby, Sporty, Ginger, Scary and Posh – were all stars in their own right as they each had a separate persona. Girls all over the UK were desperate to be like one of the Spice Girls, which is why they still remain iconic to this day.

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson, especially after his death in 2009, has gone down in history as one of the most successful recording artists and entertainers of all time. The “King of Pop” released the best selling album of all time – Thriller – which has had over 110 million sales worldwide. Michael Jackson is recognizable for his hits ‘Billie Jean’, ‘Beat It’, and his white-gloved left hand.
