Susan Boyle Scottish singing sensation adds a new honor to her collection Boyle has been named Sony’s highest-selling international artist.

Boyle became famous on U.K. TV show Britain’s Got Talent almost two years ago the singer has sold 14 million albums globally since her debut of I Dreamed A Dream, back in November, 2009.
She is delighted with her latest accomplishment being named among Sony Music’s top-sellers.
She tells Britain’s The Sun, “Words can’t describe how happy I am. I’ve loved every minute and I can’t wait to get back in the studio again and for all the other exciting projects in 2011.”

Physical fitness expert, Jack LaLanne, (September 26, 1914 – January 23, 2011) died at his California home from respiratory failure due to pneumonia. He was 96.
He was born Francois Henri LaLanne in San Francisco on September 26, 1914. A self-confessed “sugar-holic” as a child, he went on to study weight-lifting and bodybuilding by the time he was in his late teens.
In 1936, LaLanne opened America’s first modern health club in Oakland, California.
In 1959 “The Jack LaLanne Show,” went national, teaching people how to work out and eat right, the daytime television show had a 34-year run.
LaLanne is survived by wife Elaine, two sons, Dan and Jon, and a daughter, Yvonne.
