The David E. Kelley pilot of Wonder Woman is due to start later this year staring Adrianne Palicki.

However, her character will not be an exact replica of the classic Wonder Woman, but rather a re-imagined version of the superheroine. The show will feature Wonder Woman balancing a life as a Los Angeles crime fighter with one as a successful corporate executive.
Palicki, has appeared as Tyra Collette in NBC’s acclaimed “Friday Night Lights,” will star in the upcoming feature-film remake of “Red Dawn.” The 5-foot-11 Ohio native has also also starred in the horror film “Breaking the Girl” and in the recent series “Lone Star.”
On television, in the ’70s Lynda Carter was in the starring role of “Wonder Woman” for three seasons.
