American Idol second best Clay Aiken has placed his North Carolina home on the market in May 2010 for $3.5 million. Now, the price has dropped and he is asking $2.7 million for it. He initially bought the Durham home in 2005, after selling his six bedroom home in Chatsworth, a suburb of Los Angeles.

Aiken’s home in Durham is located on a private 6.93 acres lot bordered with trees and has 6 bedrooms and 7.5 baths. Although it is in a rural setting, it has luxurious surroundings, including marble foyer, fountain and curved driveway. His luxury home also features a professional kitchen, four fireplaces, a theater and a recreation room with pool table and bar area.

The entire estate has a Southern charm with a screened porch and with a wooden bridge and pond at the back of the house.

It is an American action-fantasy film, with such female stars as Emily Browning, Jamie Chung, Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish and Vanessa Hudgens, directed by Zack Snyder and written by Zack Snyder and Steve Shibuya.

The plot of the movie is set back in the 1950s in the imagination of a girl Babydoll (Emily Browning), who has been sent to a mental institution against her will by her step-father, shortly after her mother died. Locked away, her only escape from the sad reality is her dreams. As she is no longer restricted by place or time, she can go wherever her mind takes her. Her vivid imagination sends her into such amazing adventures that the fine line between her imagination and the reality is almost indistinguishable.

She has not given up on hope and wants to survive and to fight for her freedom. She manages to convince four other girls – Rocket (Jena Malone), Blondie (Vanessa Hudgens), Amber (Jamie Chung) and Sweet Pea (Abbie Cornish) – to team up and to escape from their captors, Blue (Oscar Isaac), High Roller (Jon Hamm) and Madam Gorski (Carla Gugino). Having Babydoll as their leader, the girls are fighting everything from serpents to samurai, armed with a virtual arsenal. As team, they are forced to decide what they are willing to give up in exchange for their survival. However, helped by a Wise Man (Scott Glenn), their incredible adventure – if it is a successful one –might just set them free.
