The OC actress Mischa Barton employed a private nursing company for reasons unidentified and during that time she scored nearly $90,000 in medical care, money she’s now having to repay reported TMZ.

The site reports that the 25-year-old star ran up the big bill with Doctor’s Choice Nursing but the money was never paid.

Doctor’s Choice Nursing claims that the struggling actress incurred a bill of $89,930.57. They sued for the unpaid fees, plus two years’ worth of interest,which totaled to over $95,000.

However, a spokesperson for the star said she was not informed of the lawsuit, adding: ‘This is the first we have heard of it.’

Barton previously attributed her mental health issues to bungled surgery on her wisdom teeth. It’s unknown whether the dental operation had been performed by Doctor’s Choice Nursing.
