Academy Award-winning actress Jodie Foster’s home is now on the market for $9,975,000. The Beverly Hills home is situated a couple of blocks behind the Beverly Hills Hotel in the high-status location north of Sunset Boulevard, known for the celebrities who prefer it because of the private amenities and the posh city.
The actress became famous as a child actress and was first nominated for an Oscar at the age of 12 for her performance on Taxi Driver. She later won two Academy Awards, for her roles on The Accused and on the Silence of the Lambs.
Foster’s Beverly Hills home has 5,400 square feet and it spreads on almost an acre. It was built in 1949 in Cape Cod-style and includes 7 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, swimming pool, tennis court and a guest house with 2 bedrooms. The house boasts open patios and lush landscaping.
The residence was purchased by the actress in 2008 for $8 million.
