Transformers: Dark of the MoonIn 1961, the Ark spacecraft from the planet Cybertron crashes on the moon. It was piloted by Sentinel Prime and carried special items – the Pillars – which could save the Cybertronians. The crash of the last ship to escape from Cybertron, was detected by NASA and a mission has been authorized to investigate the spacecraft, in the form of a NASA cover mission to send men on the moon.

In present days, the Autobots are in a military alliance with the US, but they act mainly independently. Optimus Prime discovers in a mission in Chernobyl that a fuel cell from the Ark caused the Chernobyl disaster when the Soviet Union tried to use it as a power source. Optimus starts his own mission to get back the Pillars and to recover Sentinel Prime. While he investigates the Ark, he finds five metal pillars and the body of the weakened Sentinel Prime.

Over $1 Bil for On Stranger Tides Johnny Depp

The makers of “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” should be happy for the movie has totaled $1 billion at the international box office.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides

The fourth in the series starring Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow now has surpassed the benchmark figure since its release on May 20.

The movie took in $233.7 million at the US box office and $774 million in the international market, making a total of $1.007 billion.

This is the 4th Disney project to surpass the $1 billion mark.

“Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” is now the third Johnny Depp movie take to take more than $1 billion, following on from the success of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest” and “Alice in Wonderland.”

Johnny Depp said: “For me as an actor, it just feels like there’s a lot more with the character that I can do, it feels limitless in a way.”

I really enjoy the “Pirates of the Caribbean” series and looking forward to more.
