Lisa Edelstein, former House star speaks out about reports she was fired from the smash medical drama for declining to take a salary cut, but she don’t think she will be welcomed back for the show’s last episodes next year (2012).
The beautiful brunette played Hugh Laurie’s lover and superior in House and she left out of the blue this summer (2011) amongst claims she’d fallen out with TV honchos.
Her part, Dr. Lisa Cuddy, was not decently written out of House, Edelstein feels certain she will not be asked back.
She tells TV Guide magazine, “Leaving was not something I planned on doing… (but) I was definitely not fired. I have yet to read see any correct information about what happened.
“The story doesn’t need to be told. It’s not good for anybody’s business. I don’t have any enemies over there. I want to make it clear I loved my experience on House. It was (just) a lousy ending.”
