Anthony Michael Hall Biography, Filmography, PicturesMichael Anthony Hall (born on April 14, 1968), is an American actor, film director and producer. He started his career as a child in commercials and on stage, debuting on screen in 1980.

He was born in West Roxbury, Boston, Massachusetts, grew up in New York City and attended Manhattan’s Professional Children’s School. He started his career as an actor at age eight, being managed by his mother throughout the 1980s.

Besides acting, he has another passion, music. He is the singer and songwriter for the band, Hall of Mirrors, founded in 1998. In 1999, they released an album, Welcome to the Hall of Mirrors.

His acting career started when he was seven years old appearing in various commercials. He debuted on stage in 1977 as Steve Allen in the play The Wake. He debuted on screen in 1980 in the television movie The Gold Bug as young Edgar Allan Poe, but he wasn’t quite noticed until 1982 with the release of the film Six Pack.

A year later, he was cast as Rusty Griswold in National Lampoon’s Vacation, which was a considerable box office hit in 1983. However, he didn’t reprise his role in its sequel in 1985. His breakout role came along in 1984 in the film Sixteen Candles as Farmer Ted, the geek, role which made him a star overnight.

Jackie Earle Haley Biography, Filmography, PicturesJackie Earle Haley (born on July 14, 1961) is an American film actor, known for his roles in Breaking Away, The Bad News Bears, Little Children, Watchmen and in the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street.

He was born and grew up in Northridge, California. He was first married to Sherry Vaughan in 1979. He has a son from his second wife and a daughter whose mother is unknown. In 2004, he married Amelia Cruz and they live in San Antonio, Texas.

He has appeared in several films, including Damnation Alley, The Day of the Locust, Losin’ It and also in guest roles on television. An established child actor, he starred in the comedy The Bad News Bears, in The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training, and The Bad News Bears Go to Japan.

He played the role of Moocher in the 1979 film Breaking Away and later in the television series of the same year. He made guest appearances on television shows, including Marcus Welby, M.D., The Waltons, MacGyver, Planet of the Apes, Murder, She Wrote, The Love Boat, Renegade and Get a Life.

As he moved to San Antonio, Texas his acting career turned dormant and he eventually started directing and achieved success as a producer and director of TV commercials. He started acting again in 2006, appearing in All the King’s Men with Sean Penn and in Little Children. His role in Little Children earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. In 2007, Haley was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

In 2008, he starred in Fragments, with Guy Pearce, Kate Beckinsale and Dakota Fanning and appeared in Semi-Pro. He also starred in the Watchmen (2009) and appeared in Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island (2010). He was Freddy Krueger in the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street and also signed to reprise his role in three installments in the series.

He has a regular role as Guerrero, on Human Target, series which premiered in January 2010, on Fox.
