Scarlet Johansson has swapped Los Angeles for Louisiana, as the actress and her husband Ryan Reynolds are the new owners of a farmhouse in the state.

The actress sold her Hollywood Hills mansion for $5 million in February and they were said to have planned to live in New York City, where they also have a property.

But now, the two stars seem to have chosen Louisiana, while Reynold shoots his role in new superhero hit Green Lantern in the area.

They bought a simple farmhouse in Louisiana, along with a rusty tin-roofed barn, according to Britain’s Daily Mail.

Other celebrities purchasing property in the state include Sandra Bullock with a large home in New Orleans, and Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie with a property in the Big Easy.

Celebrity gossip emerged about the current status of the relationship of Hollywood’s supercouple, with reports that Jolie and Pitt were set to part ways.

But Jon Voight, claims Jolie and Pitt relationship is still strong after a five years history together, according to
Hollyscoop.com.

Regarding the gossips about the split, Voight says, “Nonsense. It’s all made up stuff.”

The famous couple met while filming their film Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005. At that time, Brad Pitt was married to Jennifer Anniston. Anniston filed for divorce in March 2005, while Jolie and Pitt started their relationship shortly afterwords.

The couple share six children together – three adopted children and three biological kids.
