Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie did not had the chance to meet before working together on ‘The Tourist’ as nether of them really like to leave the house.

Although they both have homes in southern France close to one another, they had never met prior of working on ‘The Tourist’.

Jolie claims there is nothing strange in their virtually in existent social interaction as they don’t enjoy social situations.

The actress said: “We’re both not that social. I don’t think either one of us goes out of our house, especially in France. We’re both locked away.”

Although Johnny never met Angelina, he had wanted to act with her for a long time, even if he had no clues what Angelina would be like.

Johnny told Entertainment Weekly magazine: “So much has been written about Angie and Brad. They’re sort of the Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton of our era. I knew she was a big star, but I didn’t know what to expect.”

The actor, 47, – who has two children with girlfriend Vanessa Paradis – was anxious about meeting Angelina but the tension quickly disappeared after discussing family life.

When asked if he was nervous about the first meeting with Angelina, he said: “Well, there is sort of that. Because on one level it’s like, ‘Here we go, kid. We’re about to get into the ring together.’

“We sat there and babbled about our kids, and it was a huge relief. I was pleasantly surprised that she has an incredibly perverse sense of humor. She’s a really cool broad.”

Although Angelina Jolie is now a UN Goodwill Ambassador and also mother of six, a decade ago she got high before taking part at a talk show. Her former drug dealer, Franklin Meyer, reveals that Jolie had taken heroine and cocaine with him in New York City.

Meyer claims the actress was on drugs when on January 14, 2000, she appeared on a talk show. “She was at my place. I was filming her and she’d taken coke,” Meyer reveals Life & Style. “She went directly to do The Charlie Rose Show.” His story does seem true. Angelina then 24, appeared on the show in order to promote her recent film Girl, Interrupted. On the show, she is shy, stumbles over the words, she is squirmy and rambles on about her tattoos.

At one point, Jolie becomes too excited when talking about how difficult it was to leave her characters, Gia (from the film of the same name) and Lisa, in Girl, Interrupted. She also hits the microphone attached to her chest by accident. According to Meyers, Jolie didn’t go home after the show, “She did the show, then she came back over!”
