Singer Dave Navarro has joined the ranks of celebrities who’s removing it all for PETA to protest again Fur!  The Jane’s Addiction guitar player tells PETA in an interview that he is a reformed anti-fur believer.

The provoking advertisement hopes to spare millions of animals from being killed for their fur…all in the name of fashion.

Dave Navarro for PETA New Poster

“There was a time in my life where I would wear over-the-top outfits, and some of those outfits contained fur. Then several years ago, I saw video footage of animals being skinned alive and screaming, and it honestly is the most horrific, inhumane thing I’ve ever seen—a dying, twitching, skinless animal in such terrified shock crying, screaming blood-curdling screams that are so hard to watch and listen to.”

I’m happy you are comfy in your own skin, Dave! :)

Bea Arthur, Farrah Fawcett Not In Oscar Montage

Author: Sami  /  Category: Celebrity Gossip

Each year, Hollywood honors the memory of recently died stars, during the Oscar’s annual “In Memoriam” montage. However, some of them were obviously missing during its broadcast on Sunday.

Farrah Fawcett, famous for her television roles and starring is films as “Dr. T and the Women”, “Cannonball Run” or “The Apostle” and with a Golden Globe nomination was missing from the montage.

Film critic Roger Ebert wrote on his Tweeter page, “No Farrah in the memorial. They have a lot of ‘splaining to do”.

Emmy Award winner Bea Arthur – also well known for her TV work and on film, was not either included in the montage.

Previously, The Associated Press reported the fragment just had way too much people to take in for the fixed time.

Executive director of the Academy of Motion Picture Art and Sciences said the AP, ““You are dropping people who the public knows. It’s just not comfortable.”

Farrah Fawcett died in June, 2009 battling with cancer, which was documented in “Farrah’s Story” broadcasted last year on NBC.

A surprising appearance in the montage is singer Michael Jackson who acted in 1978’s “The Wiz” and concert documentary “This Is If”, which reached theaters after his death.

However, the fact that Farrah and Bea were both mostly television stars, might be an explanation why they were missing from the montage dedicated to film stars and creators.

As bad as some of the joke were from Steve and Alec you would of thought they could have cut that and added Farrah and Bea.
