Nicolas Cage is attracted to fantasy movies due to its possibilities. He is currently playing in the comedy ‘Kick-Ass’ and he loves fantasy movies because thus he van forget reality.
Cage admits: “The possibilities are endless. It’s limitless. It’s infinity. You can do so much as an actor with that because you’re not stuck in the context of whatever reality is. “You’re not stuck in the context of whatever reality is. You can get abstract and go into the imagination. That’s fun for me. That’s where I want to dance.”
Talking about his future role in ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice’ Cage admits he likes to work with director Jerry Bruckheimer as he is able to entertain an audience. “He knows to entertain people. He knows how to make people feel happy, to give them a ride, and give them some enchantment now. Both of us now like to make movies that are kind of fantastic, and go into those realms as well.”
Cage has a couple of movies to be released this year, such as ‘Season of the Witch’ starring Christopher Lee and Ron Perlman or ‘The Hungry Rabbit Jumps’ starring Guy Pearce and January Jones.
