Belgian action hero Jean Claude Van Damme has allegedly suffered a heart attack on the set of his recent film, Weapon, after only one day of his fiftieth birthday.
The movie has relocated its production base from Romania to New Orleans for a three days shooting last week, but production was held up because of some ‘complication’. Rumors says that those complications regarded Van Damme having what seems to be a minor heart attack prior of filming any of his scenes. After being briefly admitted to a New Orleans hospital he returned to Belgium. His wife Gladys Portugues joined him in New Orleans after the heart attack and it seems he will make a full recovery.
