The stars of the 3-D movie ‘Alice in Wonderland’ endured the rain for the movie’s world premiere Tuesday night.
Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter and Anne Hathaway faced the rain while they walked the green carpet of Leicester Square, London for the special screening of the movie, event that was attended by Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
Regarding the movie, Anne, who performs as the White Queen, said it was different from usual adaptation of the Lewis Carroll novel and she believes fans will love it.
Other stars of the Disney movie attended the event, such as Barbara Windsor, the voice of Dormouse, Mia Wasikowski, the teenage Alice, or Avril Lavigne who’s music has been used for the soundtrack of the movie.
Prince Charles and Camilla met with the cast before the screening took place, with Charles asking Johnny, Mad Hatter in the movie, if he minded watching his own performance on the screen.
“I normally don’t” was the answer of the actor.

In “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”, Jack Sparrow is asked if he felt dead. In his reply, Sparrow just as Johnny Depp might do right now, “You have no idea.”
Johnny Depp is alive all right and came second best in the Harris Poll, ranking Depp as the second most loved Hollywood celebrity. Clint Eastwood grabbed the top spot.
During the las week there was on online rumor, that Depp, 46, had died in a traffic accident in France. He finished second in the Harris Poll, although he was not featured in a movie in over a year. John Wayne, who passed away in 1979, is the only actor to be ranked in the poll every year since it was started in 1994.
The Harris Poll has a long history of naming actors who were not featured in any recent films. For example, Mel Gibson has not appeared in a film since 2002, topped the poll in 2003 and remained in the top 10 until 2006.
