Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio (born on November 11, 1974) is an American actor and film producer, gaining worldwide fame for his role in Titanic. He starred in several other successful films, such as Romeo + Juliet, Inception, or Blood Diamond.
He was born in Los Angeles, California and grew up in many Los Angeles neighborhoods. He attended Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies and graduated from John Marshall High School.
He started his career appearing in commercials and educational films and got his break on television in 1990 with the series based on the movie Parenthood. He debuted on film with Critters – 3, followed in 1991, by a recurring role on the sitcom Growing Pains.
