According to the governor of the Mexican Gulf coast state of Veracruz, Mel Gibson is planning to donate sets from the movie he is currently working on to a future museum.

Gov. Fidel Herrera claims numerous sets were built within the Ignacio Allende prison in Veracruz and that the jail will be turned into a museum when Gibson finishes the filming.

Back in January, 1,500 convicts were relocated from the prison to make room for the movie that started production this week. Gibson’s movie is titled “How I Spent My Summer Vacation”.

In 2006, Gibson filmed the Mayan language movie “Apocalypto” also in Veracruz and Herrera said Gibson donated some sets from that movie too.

In “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”, Jack Sparrow is asked if he felt dead. In his reply, Sparrow just as Johnny Depp might do right now, “You have no idea.”

Johnny Depp is alive all right and came second best in the Harris Poll, ranking Depp as the second most loved Hollywood celebrity. Clint Eastwood grabbed the top spot.

During the las week there was on online rumor, that Depp, 46, had died in a traffic accident in France. He finished second in the Harris Poll, although he was not featured in a movie in over a year. John Wayne, who passed away in 1979, is the only actor to be ranked in the poll every year since it was started in 1994.

The Harris Poll has a long history of naming actors who were not featured in any recent films. For example, Mel Gibson has not appeared in a film since 2002, topped the poll in 2003 and remained in the top 10 until 2006.
