Mika Sue Boorem (born on August 18, 1987) is an American actress who despite of her young age, appeared in several films such as Blue Crash (2002), Sleepover (2004) or Smile (2005)

Mika Boorem was born in Tucson Arizona and has an older brother, Benjamin. Mika started acting in local theater in Arizona at the age of six and she debuted on television at the age of nine in the popular Touched by an Angel. Later, and she moved to Los Angeles with her family where she signed with an agent and began appearing in various TV commercials.

She is attending the Lycée Français de Los Angeles. Mika became famous for starring in the films Sleepover (2004) and Smile (2005). She also appeared as supporting actress in films Jack Frost (1998), The Patriot (2000), Along Came a Spider (2001),

Blue Crush (2002) and Carolina (2003). Mika had recurring roles in the television series Dawson’s Creek and Touched by an Angel. Mika got roles in movies Augusta, Gone and The Initiation of Sarah. She guest starred in House episode Insensitive and in one episode of Ghost Whisperer during its 4th season.

Mika played the younger version of Ally McBeal in the series pilot episode and the younger version of Drew Barrymore in Riding in Cars with Boys.

Mika was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for her role on Dawson’s Creek and got four Young Artist Award nominations.

As Mika is an eminent student, she received a Presidential Award for Academic Excellence.

Mika Boorem speaks French and she likes to spend her free time helping the elderly or just hang out with family and friends.

She is also a big animal lover.
