Donny and Marie Osmond have settled a lawsuit filed by the producer of their Las Vegas show, who accused them of unjust enrichment, breach of contract, fraud, and defamation.

The lawsuit was filed by Chip Lightman last month in Nevada and alleged that the duo engineered “a plot to defraud the William Morris Agency” of its share for negotiating their latest contract.
According to the complaint, each of the Osmonds are paid a base salary of $1.6 million and 40% of the gross box office from their show in Las Vegas, but Donny needed more money for his “lavish lifestyle of exotic cars, luxury hotel suites and private jets.”
But now, the parties have settled on undisclosed terms, and Lightman says, “I am pleased we were able to resolve this matter and am sorry that, in the heat of battle, comments may have been made that were hurtful to the Osmonds.”
Donny Osmond says they will have no problems working again with Lightman.
“My sister and I want to thank Chip Lightman for great contributions he made in launching our show at the Flamingo,” he says. “We look forward to the opportunity to work with him again in the future.”
