Dame Helen Mirren just hates viewing romantic films and considers herself “a man in disguise.”

The Academy Award-winner, mostly famous for her role as British monarch Queen Elizabeth II, explains she doesn’t like generally girlie movies, as she does not like to talk about her feelings.

Further more, Mirren claims her upcoming film Love Ranch – in which she plays the role of a brothel boss – is “about as romantic as I can handle.”

Mirren says, “I don’t really like romantic movies very much and I hate talking about feelings, so I’m definitely a man in disguise.

“I don’t even really like seeing people kiss in movies. This movie is about as romantic as I can handle.”
