Mr. T “pities da fool” who rushes this weekend to view the movie adaptation of The A-Team.
Bradley Cooper, Liam Neeson, Jessica Biel, Sharlto Copley and Quenton “Rampage” Jackson are the stars of the movie remake of the ‘80s TV hit. They play a group of Iraq War veterans, framed for a crime they did not commit and want to clear their names while they are on the run.
Mr. T, 58, played the original BA Baracus in the ‘80s television show. He declined the offer for a cameo role in the upcoming movie and after viewing a preview of the finished movie, he says he is disappointed with how graphic it is. His main concerns is that the movie has just too much sex and violence and it is nothing like the weekly series that turned him into a household name 27 years ago.
“People die in the film and there’s plenty of sex but when we did it, no one got hurt and it was all played for fun and family entertainment. These seem to be elements nobody is interested in anymore. It was too graphic for me. I’ve no doubt it will do big business at the box office but it’s nothing like the show we turned out every week.”
The A-Team is set to hit the theaters June 11.
