Uma Thurman and her fiancé, Arpad Busson split almost two months ago, according to Usmagazine.com and was confirmed by a source close to the couple.

The source also told Usmagazine.com that “Uma and Arki are still friends.”

Thurman and Busson revealed their engagement last June, Thurman received an eight-carat diamond with 20 smaller stones from Busson. It was rumored that they would get married this past April, but they proved to be false.

Thurman was previously married to Ethan Hawke and Garry Oldman, and was very discrete on her relationship with Busson.

In 2008, Thurman said to InStyle, “I crave structure. I’ve never had good habits or a formula for how to shape a day, a month, a life, I appreciate anything that makes me focus,” stating that she is ready to marriage again.

Sources say that Busson, 44, gave Thurman, 38, an engagement ring so big “she can’t fit it through the sleeve of her coat!” the 8-plus carat center stone surrounded by 20 smaller stones.

Uma Thurman wore her new ring to an Elton John AIDS benefit on Thursday in Windsor, U.K., and “all the ladies’ eyes were buggin’ out,” an attendee of the benefit says.

It would be the third marriage for Thurman, she is coming off a divorce from actor Ethan Hawke, 2003 the pair have two children together, Maya, 9, and Levon, 6. Her marriage to Gary Oldman ended in 1992. Busson has two sons with former supermodel Elle Macpherson, from whom he split in 2005.

No wedding date has been set, says the source.
