Avatar star Zoe Saldana got engaged, according to her rep for the latest issue of Us Weekly.

Saldana, 32, “is thrilled” to tie the knot with her boyfriend of 10 years, Keith Britton, an insider tells Us, “They’ve been together forever. They’re a great couple.”

Saldana was mainly discreet about her relationship with the 33 year old actor and also CEO of My Fashion Database.

Another source said, “She doesn’t even introduce him as her fiancé. She will just say, ‘This is Keith.’ She likes to keep her personal life to herself and wants people to focus on her as an actress.”

This second source also revealed Us that Saldana is not worried about the wedding, in fact, “She hasn’t stopped working to plan anything.”

Valerie Bertinelli at 50 is looking forward to her wedding to her boyfriend of six years, businessman Tom Vitale.

Vitale, 48, proposed in Florence during a recent trip to Italy. The actress said AARP The Magazine in its July/ August edition, “We’d talked about getting married, but I was still shocked. It was sweet when he asked me, because he was so scared. I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ ”

Bertinelli and Vitale met in 2004, after theur earlier marriages had fallen apart. During their trip, he proposed. He said, “If the time wasn’t right, I wouldn’t have asked. We’re both still a little afraid of commitment, but then we were over there, and it was like our souls were calibrated.”

The wedding is set to take place this fall, and the planning for the event is up to Vitale. The actress says, “He already knows the different kinds of bells he wants to go off during the ceremony.”

Bertinelli is currently starring in the sitcom Hot in Cleveland and has a son from her previous marriage, while Vitale has four children with ages between 11 and 19.
